


If at all possible, please call ahead to let us know you are coming, 559-486-0520. This will help us prepare for your pet’s emergency.
Bring any medications your pet is prescribed or any medication that has been given or applied. If your pet has ingested a substance, please bring that in so the veterinarian can make the proper diagnosis.
Once you arrive at the hospital, your pet will be triaged by a trained staff member. The sickest pets will be seen first. The veterinarian will perform a physical exam and discuss the treatment options with you.
We have the capabilities to handle most common pet emergencies. We are equipped to provide oxygen therapy, blood transfusions, emergency surgery and around the clock critical care nursing.
The National Animal Poison Control Center is available at all times for you to call and discuss you pet’s emergency. Call 888-426-4435 and make note of you case number. If your pet needs emergency treatment, our veterinarian will be able to discuss the case with the toxicologist.
After your pet is treated at our facility, your pet’s case may be transferred back to your primary veterinarian. We recommend you contact them in the morning and discuss transferring your pet to their care. We can provide twenty-four hour case if needed. We will send copies of your pet’s records to your primary veterinarian. We will send radiographs with you to drop off at your primary veterinarian.
